BAKO UNITED – REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

1. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Change of Mind
We offer returns within 14 days for unused items in original condition.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

3. Faulty or Defective Items
If a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you are entitled to:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund

4. Major vs Minor Faults

  • Major fault: refund or replacement

  • Minor fault: repair or replacement

5. Exclusions (see full list below)
Returns are not accepted for:

  • Worn or used items

  • Items without original packaging

  • Clearance items (unless faulty)

  • Socks and undergarments (unless faulty)

6. Process
Email us at bakounited@outlook.com with:

  • Order number

  • Photos of item

  • Description of issue

7. Refund Timing
Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after approval.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

We also do not accept returns for any socks, undergarments (such as underwear) due to hygiene reasons. There must me a visible fault in the item for a return/exchange. Please select sizes carefully. If you have any questions please contact us at bakounited@outlook.com


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
Exchanges will be given in form of a gift card that will be activated as soon as returned item/s have been approved and you (the customer) will be notified via email and presented with the online gift card. Please be aware, return shipping and shipping of exchanged items is at cost to the customer.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
